Dear PUBG MOBILE Esports fans,
Today was set to feature the final matches of the first Super Weekend of 2020 PUBG MOBILE Global Championship (PMGC). However, during today's broadcast preparations, the PUBG MOBILE Esports studio in Katowice, Poland, has been affected by a sudden power outage, which caused the main production facility to shut down. Unfortunately, even though a failsafe power feed was prepared, the electricity malfunction damaged our main power supply and the failsafe switch, which forced us to look out for an alternative solution outside of the studio. And while we've been able to prepare one, it couldn't be ready in time to host today’s PMGC Super Weekend Day 3 matches.
Because of that, we’ve been forced to make a tough decision to reschedule the final day of the first PMGC Super Weekend for the upcoming week. Once we have confirmed the availability of everyone involved, we will provide an updated schedule to our esports fans around the world. We want to make sure that we can deliver the best PMGC experience possible for everyone. Lastly, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience and guarantee that the PMGC will be played out to completion on-air.
